2023 power pet of the year and 2023 power pet parent of the year. Sir Paul and Rose.
First off I would like to start off by welcoming one of the biggest humanitarian and Pet Advocate there is who is also one of the greatest musical icons on this planet Sir Paul McCartney and we here at Powerpetclub are proud to introduce you our members and first time visitors to one of Sir Paul’s favorite furry friends and very special companion her name is Rose is a Black Labrador Retriever she is a perfect example of how you and I as Pet Parents can make a huge difference in the lives and circumstances of neglected and abused animals right from where we are as Sir Paul does for abused animals all over the world.
Here’s what happened. Sir Paul came up on Rose at a visit to a local animal rescue shelter which is something he does as a global animal rights activist and animal rights ambassador Rose was rescued by the shelter suffering from severe physical/mental abuse and malnutrition upon laying his eyes on Rose Sir Paul fell in.love and was determined to adopt rose rehabilitate and save her. Well fast forward a few years later and Rose is now living a beautiful brand new life carefree traveling the globe with Sir Paul showing what a huge difference we all can make if we are willing to take the time and help out or even volunteer whenever possible. Well here are some photos of Rose traveling along side Sir Paul on his daily travels even on his private jet as jet setter Rose and at his many homes worldwide.
As Sir Paul shows us we all can make a difference in the lives of these beautiful defenseless animals who have been put through some very pain filled and difficult circumstances and maybe even if your schedule does not allow you to be a full time pet parent like Sir Paul you can donate a portion of your financial resources to your local animal and rescue shelters in your area or to the ASPCA in your area because so many of these shelters are suffering from severe financial constraints insufficient funding and necessary manpower to do what they love to do which is to save lives. So once again as the founder and president of the powerpetclubs family it is a pleasure to bestow the incredible honor of the 2023 Powerpetclub power pet parent of the Year award to Sir Paul McCartney a perfect example for all of us

How Power Pet got started: Here’s why I started Power Pet.
It was actually in 2015 when the idea first came around because as a dad myself of 2 young boys one a teenager and a 19 yr old daughter and a pet parent who had recently lost our beloved 2yr old Mastiff who while we were taking a late night stroll was struck by a car losing him immediately due to the severity of his injuries he succumbed but we never forgot just how special our Rocky was to us especially since he was given to us as a 2week old pup and over time became a rather valuable member of our small family and yet we really had nothing to remind us of just how special our Rocky was to us aside from your usual stuff a photo here and there there was nothing like a special honor or Recognition hanging on our walls or trophy or T-shirt from some independent company or organization recognizing his incredible exploits or just how much his existence had mean’t not just to us but to others who felt he was the most incredible dog they had ever seen or met before just something to remember him you know honoring him like we do the way we honor our kids when they make the Honor Roll or win some athletic or scholastic honor or award we go crazy with excitement because we are so proud we are their parents especially when they graduate high school or college or make the Honor Roll we all notice those stickers on cars by those very proud parents who want to share their joy with the world can you blame then? Of course not they are just busting with pride and joy so that they will post it online on Facebook, contact the local papers hold a graduation party have it printed on anything and everything because this is who we are proud parents, so why not do the same thing for our valuable pets when they may be the only family members we have left or have at all don’t they deserve this too? I would say so, and it seems so do millions of other pet parents around the world. Rocky was as special to me as he was to our family and many others who came to know him as an important part of our family clique, so Rocky died without the world knowing who Rocky was and how much Rocky meant to all of us.

Foods You should Avoid Feeding Your Dog That Can Be Harmful Or Even Lethal!
1. Chives, Onions, and Garlic
The onion family is extremely poisonous to dogs whether dried, raw or cooked, and may induce gastrointestinal discomfort and red blood cell destruction. Illness symptoms may not usually appear right away and make take up to a few days to appear.
2. Chocolate
Chocolate is another deadly food for dogs, no matter how appealing it is to people and dogs alike. Chocolate includes theobromine a stimulant that is harmful to dogs and may induce renal failure. Dark chocolate has the greatest concentration of theobromine.
3. Macadamia Nuts
Macadamia nuts contain a toxin that might cause weakness, swelling limbs, and panting in your dog’s muscles and neurological system.
4. Corn On The Cob.
If your dog eats the corn on the cob, it might be lethal. Although dogs can digest corn, the cob may create a clog in their intestines.
5. Avocado
Avocados are another food that is toxic to dogs. Avocado plants contain a chemical called Persin which may induce vomiting and diarrhea in dogs. It can be found in the leaves, fruit, and seed of the Avocado plant.
6. Bones That Have Been Cooked
It’s OK to give your dog a raw, uncooked bone to gnaw on, but cooked bones should be avoided at all cost. These may easily splinter, causing constipation or, in the worst case scenario a perforation of the stomach, which can be deadly.
7. Raisins and Grapes
Raisins may be found in a variety of meals, including cakes, cookies, and cereals, so it’s not only the fruit version that has to be avoided. The toxin’s chemical constituent is unclear, however grapes and raisins may both cause serious liver damage and renal failure.
